- August 2008: Dr. Zheng is invited to give a talk at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada
- July 2008: Along with Dr. Subhlok and Garbiel, we received an NSF award to develop parallel computing solutions utilizing idle desktop resources.
- July 2008: We receive two NSF awards to conduct research on i) robust resource management in wireless networks oper ating in Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) bands; and ii) wireless structure health monitoring using piezo-electric transducer (PZT) based smart sensors.
- July 2008: Cunqing and Song's paper on "Robust Channel Assignment for Link-level Resource Provision in Multi-Radio

- May 2007: We receive $25,000 funding from the Grants to Enhance and Advance Research (GEAR) program
- May 2007: Prof. Rong Zheng presented "Toward Optimal Data Aggregation in Random Wireless Sensor Networks" at INFOCOM 2007.
